Gabled Residence

The project stands out through a dynamic volumetric composition, dominated by a modern reinterpretation of the gabled roof, seamlessly articulated with secondary flat-roof volumes. Steep pitches and a spectacular overhang generate a slender profile and generous eaves that shield the facades and enhance privacy.

On the upper floor, the private living space extends outdoors via a cantilevered balcony with a frameless tempered-glass railing, offering an unobstructed view of the garden. The underside of the roof and overhangs is clad in natural wood slats treated for exterior use, adding a warm texture that elegantly contrasts with the sleek lines of the building.

The facade is a balanced dialogue between mineral finishes, metallic accents and expansive glass surfaces. High-resistance white decorative plaster is strategically combined with grey exposed brick at the entrance and along vertical accent walls.

Thermally-broken anthracite aluminum joinery with triple glazing ensures high energy efficiency, allowing full-height glazed surfaces — including a curtain wall at the entrance and large sliding doors on the ground floor. Access pathways and the entrance area are paved with large-format anti-slip porcelain tiles.

Light plays a central role in highlighting the architecture at night. Up-down fixtures accentuate the brickwork; spotlights recessed into ground and steps provide visual guidance; beneath the cantilever, metallic pendants add a bespoke touch.

The ground floor opens onto a generous wooden deck, creating seamless visual continuity between interior and yard. A sunken lounge is framed by natural rock formations and mature vegetation — Japanese maples and palms in massive ceramic planters — offering an intimate space for outdoor socializing.
