Obsidian — Sculptural Bath
Deep black marble, faceted gold hexagons and a sculptural Corian washbasin — a synthesis of modern manufacturing and high-precision finishing.
Three-dimensional volumetrics and large-format cladding
The interior relies on a striking contrast between smooth, dark surfaces and relief-textured accent walls. The focal point is composed of three-dimensional hexagonal tiles combining matte white, glossy black and faceted mirror-gold accents, wrapping the wall and framing the horizontal ventilation window.
The main walls and flooring are clad in large-format porcelain slabs of deep black traversed by fine gold and copper veins (Sahara Noir style), providing visual continuity and minimizing grout lines.
Sculptural washbasin and parametric details
The vanity was conceived as a piece of functional art, custom-crafted from advanced composite materials. The organic Corian-type washbasin features a fluid, asymmetrical shape that emerges directly from the wall and extends into a slim shelf for accessories.
Above the basin, a circular mirror with perimeter LED lighting integrates a finely laser-engraved spiral pattern, creating an optical illusion of depth.
Technical solutions and scenographic lighting
A recessed vertical LED strip runs the full height of the wall, marking the transition to the walk-in shower and generating a futuristic atmosphere. Ceiling coves diffuse warm ambient light, complemented by adjustable black track spotlights for precise accent illumination.
The space is equipped with a wall-hung matte black WC, a concealed cistern module clad in black glass, a matte black vertical panel radiator and a walk-in shower enclosure framed by clear tempered glass.
